Salutations! Welcome to Day #13 in A Year of Positivity! Today’s quote comes from an anonymous person, but I’ll tell you, it’s a great one that says, “You are so much stronger thank you think you are.” The beauty of this quote is that every person out there is dealing with their own battles and slaying their own beasts, so this quote can apply to every situation.
Some people can take this quote to mean physical strength, which is a good thing. However, I’m specifically referring to inner strength. Inner strength is where we discover our mental and emotional capacities from a wide variety of experiences in which we go through. We go through countless experiences through our childhood, adolescence, and adulthoods. The experiences, or situations we go through can be small or they could be big, but they almost always shape us into the people we are today.
The most prominent experiences that help us to grow and improve our mental and emotional inner strengths come from painful and life-altering moments. When we overcome these experiences, our hearts, our minds, and our spirits, it means we’re so much stronger today than we were yesterday, and better yet we’ll be stronger tomorrow than we are today.
Strength is when you tell yourself that you’re good enough, that you’re brave enough, and that you are strong enough to overcome any obstacles that come your way. Keep in mind, though, for every new level you reach, there’s a new devil waiting for you to slay, though if you believe in yourself, then you’ve got this. Just remember that what doesn’t kill you will only strengthen you.
